Jon grew up in Malvern and attended The Chase High School prior to going to The Royal Veterinary College, London, to study for his veterinary degree. After ‘seeing practice’ as a student at the Avenue Veterinary Centre, Jon started with us as a fully qualified vet shortly after qualifying in 2008. He became a director of the practice in 2015.
Jon lives in Malvern Wells with his wife Emer, and their son’s Paddy & George. Emer worked at the practice for a couple of years before going on maternity leave. They have a wide selection of pets, including a very handsome Labrador called Dougal, Dottie the Shih-Tzu, and Molly the cat. They also have a selection of chickens, and two ponies. They have recently started the renovation of a derelict farmhouse that will keep them busy for a few years at least! Jon’s other hobbies include cycling, gardening, and travelling.
