Peter Creber

Retired

Peter was born and educated in Cornwall, prior to heading up north to Bristol to study for his veterinary degree.

Peter started his first veterinary role at the Avenue Road surgery (then part of the Gables Veterinary Group). In 1990 he took a year’s sabbatical to work as a locum vet in various parts of New Zealand, before returning to Malvern to become a partner in the practice.

The Gables Veterinary Group amicably split into its individual branches in 1998, and Malvern became the Avenue Veterinary Centre with Peter in partnership with Willie Campbell. When Willie retired in 2006, Peter took on the role of owner and director of the practice.

Peter lives in West Malvern. He is married to Sarah and they have three children, Tom, David and Rosie.  At present they have a spaniel collie cross called Ziggy and a elderly Springer spaniel called Meg.

Recently Peter has purchased, with members of his family, a small area of oak woodland in the Wye Valley with the aim of managing it and improving it as a wildlife habitat. An exciting project!

'Peter retired in December 2022 but is still a regular face at the practice.
